Brandie Malay grew up in Ohio and established her love for real estate as a little girl when her parents would take her each week to open houses to see how the "other people" lived. After graduating from Miami University, Brandie moved to Los Angeles. She helped upstart a company that outsourced construction loans for custom built homes. When the company was bought out, she decided to get back to her Midwestern roots and relocate to Chicago. Once there, she obtained her real estate license and has been a top producer in the city ever since.

Brandie was asked to join Designed to Sell in 2005 to provide her real estate expertise by showing sellers what was currently working and not working in their home in order to get it sold. From that, a design team took Brandie's advice and helped transform the sellers' home by utilizing a $2000 budget.

In 2006, Brandie was offered to host Hidden Potential and was thrilled with the opportunity. It allowed her to take buyers into three different homes and show them with computer generated images what the home could possibly look like while working within their budget. Brandie also filmed special episodes of Hidden Potential at Home where she would work with homeowners to show them the potential of their own house.

Brandie has been a featured guest on The Today Show, Cashin' In, American Morning, and other NBC & CNN affiliates. She has been on the cover of Columbus Monthly and interviewed by several newspapers across the country.
